Brian Herring

Puppet Coordinator

A principal performer for the internationally acclaimed Jim Henson Company, he has performed characters on ‘The Hoobs’, ‘Mopatop’s Shop’ and ‘Construction Site’. His other puppetry work has included; ‘Barking’, ‘Roger and the Rotten Trolls’, ‘Wizadora’, ‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’, ‘Cartoon Critters’ and ‘The Animal Magic show’ with Dominic Wood. Brian had a hand in the fluffy BBC2 ident and is one of the credit card carrying Guinea Pigs for the EGG Money commercials. He has also appeared at the Brit awards with the Scissor Sisters (twice). He recently performed many characters in the ITV1 satirical CGI series 'Head Cases' and can currently be seen as Anthony the Anteater in the Nick Jr show 'What's Your News?' and he's very close friends with Virgin 1's naughty little mascot Red.

He has recently returned from performing Audrey II on the Menier Chocolate Factory's national tour of 'Little Shop of Horrors' (his ninth time as the mean green mother from outer space).

His film work includes; Muppet's Treasure Island, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, 28 Weeks Later, the forthcoming 'A Shine of Rainbows' and 'Rise of the Appliances' . He also played waved a tentacle as The Silkard in 'Hellboy 2: The Golden Army'.

Brian is delighted to be working on 'Guess How Much I Love You'.
