Little Nutbrown Hare

Since graduating in 1997, Abbey has toured nationally in a variety of productions including, 'Pygmalion', 'The Importance of Being Earnest', 'Major Barbara', 'Charlie's Aunt' and a new adaptation of the Henry James novel, 'What Maisie Knew', playing Maisie, all for Michael Friend Productions. Other theatre experience includes Julia Simmons in, 'A Murder is Announced' for Gawsworth Hall Summer Rep and the parody of Erna in 'The Chair Women' for Scarlet Theatre at Riverside Studios and a European tour. Family and children's theatre experience includes, Tallulah in 'Maisy's Treasure Hunt', 'The Extraordinary Adventures of Mr Benn' and 'Robin Hood' all for the Nuffield Theatre Southampton. Muffy in 'The Book of the Banshee' for The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre Guildford and on tour, ‘Cat in Cat Ninelives in Deepest Trubble', Tommy the Cat in 'Dick Whittington' at Harrogate Theatre and Mouse in, 'The Gruffalo' and 'The Gruffalo's Child' in the West End, on tour and in Dubai. Most recently she was playing Sophie in David Wood's adaptation of, 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'.
Abbey is delighted to be adding 'Guess How Much I Love You' to her list of much loved children's adaptations and 'Hare' to her menagerie of animals played.
